I would like to start a flock of orpingtons. I love my buffs but I would LOVE some different colored ones.
They are so gorgeous. Now I am interested in the looks of them, but really I am more of a "pet quality" type of chicken owner. I am not looking to drop serious money on them, but I would love any advice or ideas you all have about where to go, who to ask...etc...I do have an incubator, so hatching eggs are an option, I really am nervous about shipping eggs though, so local would be best. I am in NH, but anything in New England is do-able. Thanks so much!
