Acutally, it's very easy to tell a rooster egg from a hen's egg. Roosters lay eggs that are square on the bottom, and if you look closely you will see thin white lines going up from the bottom to the top. If you put them in the incubator, they will ALWAYS produce a rooster. It's a no-fail way of telling.
Edit: BTW, it's impossible to predict with hen's eggs, but some of their eggs will also produce roosters.
