I am going outside every ten minutes or so to observe the event. Sky is not cloudless but I can see moon. No real base line with respect to chicken behavior. Roosters often crow a lot but not always. This morning is a not always. May not be anything to report.

I tried to link to a thread I made last summer of the total solar eclipse. Like so many others I started, it does not show up in a search.

I missed it :hmm took the kids out for the bus and they mentioned it, but it was already gone. Get any good pics?
We had a super moon not too long ago. I came home early from work that night and caught it on the way home. On the top of one of the hills it was a monster huge. Wish I took a pic. Once it was visible from our house it looked like a normal ole moon.

I was able to see the entire thing. We get up @ 6 and it had just barely started. By 6:50, when I left for work, it was fully eclipsed and red. Then it got too light from the sunrise to see the moon any longer, so we won't be able to see the 'uncovering'. This is Central Standard Time.

I, too, was up early, but saw no eclipse from here on the East coast. Super moon was big, beautiful and orange tinged but no eclipse. :( Hopefully someone from the West coast has pictures.
