Does this work for Australorps? Assuming so but just wanted to double check.

Thank youYes it does
Thank you as I didn't know that.Yes it does, however if you put splash to splash too many time's, the batches of chick's will start to loose the defined feather lacing. Australorp's was the first breed that I worked with.
It's best to keep all of the colors, and breed blue back to black, and then keep your best laced blues to breed with your splashes' to help keep some nice lacing in your splashes'. Good luck!Thank you

Thank you. So far I've only got 2 pullets, a black and a blue and I'm hunting for a show quality rooster. Not too much of a priority though because they're not laying yet and I'll still need to wait once they do for good size eggs. I'll be expanding my flock as I go so I can get more colours. It's best to keep all of the colors, and breed blue back to black, and then keep your best laced blues to breed with your splashes' to help keep some nice lacing in your splashes'. I had bought hatching egg's from a breeder that was a member here on BYC before. He was very helpful in telling me how to do them like I just passed the info unto you! Good luck with finding a blue rooster to go with those girl's to give you your start.Thank you. So far I've only got 2 pullets, a black and a blue and I'm hunting for a show quality rooster. How did you find Australorps? Did you like them? Any tips for a first time breeder? (Dad bred them when I was little and I've done a bit with ducks so have a bit of experience but always open for ideas)
I'm glad you found someone who told you what you needed to know. And not just because you passed it onto me. Thank you. I might start a thread once I get him to at least keep track of whats going on.I had bought hatching egg's from a breeder that was a member here on BYC before.
