Blue chicken poo

Has anyone else fed their chooks beetroot? I gave mine a bag of mixed salad that had beetroot in, the next day their poo was blue! I know it can change the colour of human wee etc, but didn't realise it did it with chickens.

Hoping this is normal, has anyone else seen this?

I wouldn't worry about it. I plant garden huckleberries every year, and every harvest season I get treated to the sight of electric purple poo piles all over the place. I imagine it's the same issue with the beets. Festive!
