Blue cochin breeding question

I think I know the answer to this question but here goes.I have two standard blue cochin hens and I have decided that I might want to breed some and get some splash and black chicks.Is it best to get a blue or black roo?

you must get a blue roo: you will theoretically get 1/4 splash, 1/4 black and 1/2 blue from a blueXblue (BbXBb)=1/4BB,1/4bb,1/2Bb
