Blue cochin chicks..hoping for at least one pullet!

Chick one and the slowest to feather out.


Chick two and got its feather in a lot quicker than the first one but i suspect this one is a cockerel. Its also darker than the first one if that makes any difference.



THEY ARE 4 1/2 WEEKS OLD!

Can you get close ups of their combs? Are they pink/red at all?

Im a newbie but I have read several places that slower to feather can mean roo.

This is the first one, the slowest feathering one




And this is the second one, the faster feathering one. Looks more like a cockerel to me.

Id say your 2nd looks like a cockerel, but Im not sure about the 1st. Maybe post new pics in a few weeks, should be more obvious by then.

Both look like pullets to me!

both pullets, all of their feathers are rounded, and the color is even. the roosters will have darker wing, back, and neck feathers. hens just have a darker neck
