Blue Copper Maran

I just bought a pair of Blue Copper Marans and was going to use them for breeding, raising and selling...From what I understand, if this pair gives me any wheaton marans, I need to find a new pair as is has bad gene pool?

Thx very much... I have since learned that there is a thread which I have subscribed to just for blue coppers and choose man haz since seen my pair... Thx for the reply
