Speckles is a Blue Copper Marans rooster with Splash coloring from Gabbard Farms. We hatched him from an egg April 26, 2013. If he was bred to a flock of Black Copper Marans, you should get straight run Blue Copper Marans, which are gorgeous.
This is a calm and friendly rooster. He is good with children and my daughter carries him all over the place...in fact, we think he secretly likes the attention. Mainly I do not want him to be eaten since he was raised by my daughter and is one of her favorite chickens. Below is a link to many pictures of Speckles the rooster.
