That's not what gypsy face in purebred Marans looks like...the amount of melanization in your interesting hen is common in mixes, though. Leg feathering is dominant, so its presence doesn't mean she is a Marans. Don't mean to be rude; it's just important to not mislead others who may come along and read threads later. She's beautiful and very interesting, but she is at most some kind of Marans mix (I've kept and studied Marans for two decades.) She's really pretty and interesting looking!
