Blue Earlobe but brown egg

That brown egg is large, not small. Naturally I assumed you meant the smaller egg.

lol One of my girls has white lobes, but she lays Lt. Brown to Tan eggs, my others have red and all lay a nice rich brown coloured egg. No matter the shell colour, I love my eggs!

The hen's egg is the little one, it had a double yolk. It was not a silky egg and the hen has blue earlobes.

It's that small one? Looks just like a silkie egg to me, which is likely where the brown ear lobes came

I said small egg. I hoped that would have clarified it enough since there were only 2 eggs. I have the large brown one there so people can see how small the other brown egg is. There are many shades of brown just as there are many shades of blue and green. I hope that helps!

(In Webster's dictionary, it said "tan" is a brownish color.)

I know who laid this egg. we can conclude at this point it is not a silky egg, since my silkies are in a different pen. But you are right it does look like a silky egg.

The yolks next to the double yolk were from med. eggs single yolk, and not the large egg.
