Ill be getting some blue egg soon becyase my Ameraucana crosses are getting ready to lay there eggs an I have a EE an in a couple weeks he will lay blue eggs!!! Go ahead an post pics of are cool colored eggs or pics of egg laying breeds/ chicken that I have that lays blue eggs!

I have a banty black Ameraucana named Percy. We had a rooster at our house for a couple of months, and so percy has a baby, Eggie (who's not so little anymore!) of some kind of mix Ameraucana. they are so sweet, especially Percy, whom we've had since the very beginning of our chicken experience (four years).

Here are two pics of mama Percy, who by the way, did not actually raise her baby, adoptive mama Silkie did.

Here is Percy's baby daddy, Lou Lou (don't ask).

Here is Eggie!!

Here is Percy being broody this year.

Both Eggie and Percy lay tiny beautiful tinted blue-green eggs, although Eggie's are a little bigger and Percy's egg production is slowly declining. They are remarkably good egg layers, and we usually get an egg a day from each of them. Thanks for creating this thread! I'm
excited to see and hear about other people's blue egg layers.

Hi! I raise Cream Legbars and they lay a 55-60 gram sky blue to mint colored egg (it changes based on the laying season and diet). Here is a pic of my Lucy's first tiny pullet egg.

I just started getting blue eggs...three in total, from my EE pullet. I would love to know if there is something to make them brighter! Plus...my other black sexlink I think is starting to lay purpl-ish eggs? They are definitely not brown. Right now they are fairy eggs. I took a ppicture of the blue, with the two fairy, next to a brown....just to show the color difference. I hope they stay this pretty color

Great thread idea! I have had 2 EE that layed blue/green eggs and I am currently raising 6 BBS Ameraucanas (3 cockerels, unfortunately) that will start laying later this year.
