I am assuming I have some mixed EE banties.... yes? They are laying every shade from a light blue to a white to a light beige. Whya re the egg colours all over the place? And what are they!

(I have asked before, but no one had much ideas, now TWO are laying blue and I am more baffled than ever!)

Hard to see the blue eggs, but they are light baby blue....

I'd call those green, from the look of things. . .

Still, I'd say you have EE in the background, possibly with some . . . Well I'm not sure, honstly. They do stump me.

Thats what stumps me. The white one in the background positively does not lay the blue eggs. Absolutely not.

EE's with a recessive polish gene maybe.

Polish isn't exactly a "gene" - It's a breed, which carries many genes. Most of them are not recessive. Also, Polish don't have rose combs or feathered legs as most of the OP's do.

Peacombs could indicate sebright. But some look like they have old english in them and some look to have polish in them. But colored eggs indicate ee in them also.

So, they are just mutts.

That is ok by me! Everyday is like Christmas finding these great coloured eggs!

Thanks for the input.
