I have 3 Dominique (supposedly) hens. 1 is laying brown eggs, but one is laying light blue eggs. Is she probably a mixed-breed? Ameraucana?? Just curious?

what color would you call this egg? I already have a thread asking but I want to make sure that at my "old" age as my kids say...that Im not wrong. They said its brown...i said no..more of a bluish purple.

If it is mixed it would be an Easter Egger not ameraucana. But that's probally what it is mixed with~
And ee's are awesome, i love their eggs~

Post a picture of her, i am dying to see her~

oh, that looks like a mauve color...so nice and the blue is so pretty. Count yourself blessed and you know if you want some more blue and green eggs then all you have to do is get more Easter Eggers.

What a pretty hen.

Just curious are those names of the hens on the eggs? I'm a bit weird and not only put the date on the eggs - but if I see who lays it I note the name. I would go with mauve myself.
