Jewels is beautiful. Are her feathers really as blue as the picture shows?

I think it's hoot to go to get an egg and be reminded of who gave us such a great gift. I always silently thank them.

Yes! they are, arent they gorgeous!!!

At first I kept looking at her, I thought they were gray...but nope, they are BLUE gray...the contrast of her colors are awesome and that huge egg in the basket...its her.

No, I got her at 3 days of age..and the rest of my flock from Dan in Sante Fe, Texas...near Alvin ....he was selling me Production Reds, Marans, Ees so he said....this is what I ended up with:

and I also had 1 sexlinked I got rid of last week and 4 RIRs and yet another leghorn like Big Daddy. I saw the ad on CLs for that Splash Maran....anyway Dan said that was what he was selling me and this is what I ended up with...Im not sure what I have.

I have wondered about the Marans from Spring. They are nearby, but never show photos of their birds. Just photos from feathersite. Anyone buy from the place in Spring?

There is a woman in Spring off I454 I think she is running an ad on CLs and it does show a picture....is that the one??? Im in Manvel area, towards Alvin, Pearland

well Im seriously going to put her eggs in to hatch Im curious of what I would end up with....I would like more like her but I dont know what she is!!!! Ive heard even splash buff...her shanks are a slate color, clean, no feathers

Hey everyone. Thanks for replying. I have not been on for a few days. I am confused on who is talking to who. Did one of you want to see a pic of my hen laying the blue eggs?? I will post one first thing tomorrow. She laid a huge blue one a few days ago, a double-yoker.
