What chickens give blue/green eggs? I know it MUST be the hens with "ear muffs" So, if you have the answer to my question please answer in comment :) Thank you

easter eggers lay blue/green eggs and americaunas lay only blue eggs. americaunas have the ear muffs and usually ees do to. hope this helps

There are several breeds of chickens that have beards/muffs and some of them do lay colored eggs but not all. Ameraucanas lay blue eggs and have a beard/muffs. Easter eggers (EE) lay colored eggs, most commonly green or blue/green but can really lay just about any color (pink, white, brown, etc). EEs are not a standard, recognized breed but are very common. Since they are not standardized, they can vary in appearance but can have a beard/muffs. Araucanas are also a blue egg layer but have no beard/muffs, are rumpless (no tail), and have tufts by their ears. I believe there are a couple other breeds that lay blue/green eggs but I can't recall the names right now. I do know that Indian Runner ducks lay blue/green eggs.

Ive heared EEs can lay pink eggs too.......is this true???
there is no such thing as a pink egg but some times brown eggs have a tint that makes them appear pink but once you wash them you see their true color and when the egg dries it will look pink again
