i read on bottle that you could not eat a chicken that had been treated with it.i have a hen with injury on her back and was going to use blue kote to help with healing and to keep rest of girls from pecking on it.my question is will it hurt to eat her eggs. i also wanted to let all know i have not had soft shelled egg in the last two days.i quess as some one said give her time.thanks for all your help. love this site

No, having blu-kote on won't effect her eggs, they are safe for eating.... as for eating a chicken, I would listen to the label on the product.

thanks for info,i asked question,but i dont know if i could eat one of my girls.but hope blue kote helps her.
