We have a BLRW that we believe to be a cockeral. The saddle feathers are definately pointy. The comb is extremely red, but the waddles are only about an 1/8 of an inch long. This chicken constantly is fighting with our other 2 known roo's. They are all around 20 weeks. No one is crowing or laying. In some instances can it take a while for a roo's wattles to come in.

They look like about 18 weeks old and will go though a growing spurt during the next couple of weeks. In my opinion, Wyandotte roosters tend to bloom later than others. My GLWyandotte rooster just got into crowing and breeding in the last two weeks. Monday he will be 26 weeks.
