Ah I see

many people do, but the problem is, breeding splash to splash you lose the intensity of the mahogany red pretty quickly. it requires dark blue or black laced to maintain that nice dark red.

Yeah, lucky until tourist season. We stay as far away from there as possible during the summer. We've only lived here a little over a year. Lived in Rock Hill before that, Georgia for a while, but originally from NC.

well, i've got a black and a splash laced hen with a dark blue laced roo... so i'll get a variety of all of them hopefully.
