Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD!

With splash, The red will sometimes look diluted, The red on the wings is what you want in your birds, but its hard to get that red, and even through out a splash. I might be wrong, and someone may correct me.
She is very young and I know she will change a lot, but I'm hoping she is (at the least) a better example of the breed than my last one. If I can get some better pictures of her, would anyone mind giving me some advice on her flaws and good qualities?

Most people will not answer today, or if they do it will be tonight, Being Christmas and all... Im no expert or a big breeder, but I can give you my best advice or opinions, but if you are not breeding, and improving, then I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Merry Christmas! I'm thinking I MIGHT do some breeding but not committed yet! I will get some pictures and you can let me know! Thank you!

I've gotten 2 eggs from her in the last 3 days... i'll start incubating in a week or so. the first few eggs might be pure or they might be mixed, since she was free ranging last week.

cross fingers she DOESN'T go broody now!

this is the pair that produced this boy...
at 2 months old...

and at just about 5 months old... standing to one of my LF EE's (2 year old hen weighing in at just over 5 pounds).

I don't have any recent pics of him, but his shape is a lot better now. he went to the show with me earlier this month, in Knoxville, one judge's comment was he had some more maturing to do but looked like he was shaping up nicely. momma took BV. I didn't take any of the other boys (sire or half brother) since both were moulting horribly still.

Quote: The color is fine..i see red..the body style is more important. If you have the red present you can make it darker with using a mahogany colored male. She might get mahogany with maturity too.

Quote: Yes..please post front and side views, rear and over the top views. Include legs in front and rear shot. Close up of head.
