are you SURE those are reds?  all my red babies have a dark red/brown and black/blue fuzz...  those look more like my silver laced did.

Certainly possible, can't really see in the pic , but it is red on its head. But I may have put a slw egg in with them.

No not a chance, they haven't even laid eyes on each other.

Oh well , I have nothing but time , will wait and see what happens. The two breeds are an acre apart and penned , so has to be one or the other. I have eggs under 3 x broody hens.
Will just wait and see what eventuates. Nice to see I have you thinking! Either way I'll be happy

she is very ugly..please pack her up and send her here..we have a special barn for ugly girls like that..


She is about perfect..maybe a little small, needs a little more yellow on legs, and some feather shafting..but that is minor and can eventually be fixed with correct breeding. She will give you beautiful baby's. Find her a huge male with good feathering, yellow legs, and a big head.
I would be interested in what she weighs.
