Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD!

So I am getting my first blue laced red wyandotte pullets Thursday! I'm very excited! They will be day olds. What should I expect the chicks to look like as far as colors? Any pics out there?

Those are both splash. It is the black and blue that can be hard to tell apart.

sweet. Our three are doing great. I think all three are splash with two being darker blue splash. Will keep watching them and update a photo in anothe week. We are trying our hand at incubation right now.

Good luck on the incubation thing I'm not that brave yet. Glad your chickies are doing good look forward to seeing the pic's. We have four of our girls who have started laying but not our Lacey and she doesn't show any interest in the nesting boxes at all yet. She don't like our roosters well the alpha rooster anyway and the other one she only tolerates because she can run from Henry and hides behind Buttercup and then Henry will then leaver alone.
