Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD!

Pics
Can anyone help ID these colors? I know one is Splash but I am hoping the other two are Black Laced, I picked out the darkest ones.

Pretty sure this one's Black Laced, I THINK it's a pullet, I was told she is about 8-9wks old. Girl?

For this one left to right.....black....blue....splash

This to me actually looks like a black cockerel. If you look at the tail it is feathering really slow compared to the rest. But....this breed is hard to tell. With the tail and the early wattles I say male.

Cockerel? I suspect it is...I have 2 blrw and this one has red wattles & comb. Your thoughts? It is 8 1/2 weeks old here. If it is a cokerel I need to find him a new home...any takers? I would rather him not be dinner

I am guessing that is the same bird in both pics? If not they both look like boys. Or if one its a boy :)

Thanks for the confirmation! Yes, it is the same fella in both pics. He is a sweetie, too. I hate that I can't keep him, but my very close neighbors will not appreciate him, and it against the ordinance :(

Just for anyone's who' s interested

, I have an auction closing tomorrow for BLRW hatching eggs. I usually send as many extras as I have--last time, I ended up sending out more than 20.

JUST bought some of these, btw. bought 12 got 16... AND it was the best packing job i have EVER seen. just sayin'.... AND not only that but only one got tossed and another 7 days into candling for it not growing, the rest where all good...!

I would definitely recommend this seller.

not to mention that its gonna be a great hatch for shipped eggs...!

Oh, I really hope it is a good hatch for you! I will love to hear how many make it. I hatched out a set yesterday from the same parents that all popped out like popcorn and every single one of them were beautiful darker colors--not a splash among them, which surprised me, since I have a mix of Blue, Black, and Splash hens. The last set were the same way and I thought it was just a fluke. I'll have to take a look at the blue genetics again.

One of my sweet little BLRW hens went broody. Not so sweet any more. Hissing at anyone who comes near her. She must have more than a dozen eggs under her and she ain't letting anyone get to them. I think it may be a bit before I get anymore hatching eggs to sell! Fortunately, I have another 24 in the incubator for me.

Leah-

If you are still looking to rehome the little cockerel, he would look mighty pretty with my splash hens. But I know nothing about shipping, and he needs to come to upstate NY!
