and my roo. the flash lightened him up some...
LOL, my Lacy is definitely a Larry I was so SURE she was a she, (we still call her Lacy) Sounds like you have a ROO!!!Is my Lacy...a Larry???
We have two BLRW's that are 7 weeks old. They, along with the other chicks, were raised by us from day old chicks. We had noticed that one of them has a much more pronounced comb than the other and is also starting to develop small waddles. During the past week she (all were supposed to be girls) has started trying to peck me when I reach into the brooder/coop. We noticed yesterday that "she" was carrying her tail feathers up while the other Wyandotte tail feathers are always down.
She appears very aggressive towards me (my hand). The other one, while not overly friendly, remains submissive and shows no aggressive posturing at all. So...Is my Lacy...actually a Larry?
Any help and guidance would be appreciated (we can't have roo's). Thanks!
Thanks for the replies. Wow. Now comes the next problem. I may try to post a couple of pictures before I take the next step. We can't have roo's in the city. Thanks again!LOL, my Lacy is definitely a Larry I was so SURE she was a she, (we still call her Lacy) Sounds like you have a ROO!!!
