Blue Laced Red Wyandottes gender and color please

These two are now just at 2 months (almost 9 weeks). Do they look like boys or girls? Also I’ve considered them splash because of how light they were as chicks. Is that correct or could they just be light blue? Should I expect them to lighten up a good bit more?

Your correct labeling them "splash" and pullets the both look to be.

Definitely pullets, but they look to be blue instead of splash to me. My roo's blue is much lighter than your girls.

I have been anticipating these two to be cockerels since they were 3 weeks old but their combs just never got red like I was expecting. They were very rowdy chicks but have since calmed down. Not sure if that’s just a Wyandotte thing or not. My month older golden laced always seemed like a pullet to me.

I just don’t think I can be that lucky to buy 16 chicks from TSC (7 sexlinks, 4 supposedly sexed chicks, and 5 straight runs) and end up with all pullets. That just never happens to me.
