I was wondering if any of you guys raised Blue-laced red wyandottes because I kinda want them. They're beautiful and look like great egg-layers. Any advice? Should I get them or not?
Thanks for any help!

There is a wyandottes thread in the breed section. There is a lot of info there. There is a breeder or two on there too! I also want one! Beautiful!

I had some of Katy's nice birds that is for sure. I liked them but eventually got rid of them as I really took a liking to the Silver's, the only problem I had with the Blue's is that you need to keep the dark Roosters over the light hens and visa versa, it takes extra pens. Beautiful birds and good layers.

Oh! Good! Haha. I have a rooster thats a silver laced wyandotte and he's calm but a scradey cat! Does the BLRW rooster mean at all??

I haven't ever had one that was mean.

Hey greathorse....long time no see!

I adore the trio I have and I have lots and lots of babies now and they are great. I have several different bloodlines and they all have turned out very well. Not a mean or bad one in the bunch. However, I may be barn blind!
