. Here's a better pic. When I got em at the feed store they told me they were blue laced red Wyandottes. How do they look once they are younger?

I can't enlarge the first couple photos, so I couldn't see them. The photos you just posted do look like splash blue laced red Wyandottes.

my one chick looks the same as that and mine is a golden laced cochin so if your has feathers on its feet its a cochin possibly and cochins are bantams

They look like blue laced red wyandottes to me! I have 3 and the coloring on all of them is a little different. I think the blue on yours is just really light.

Mine grew pretty slow especially compared to my Buffs.

So they grow slowly? My ducks are younger than em, about a week younger and they look full grown. I'd think my Wyandottes would be at least taller or a bit taller than they are now. Are blue laced red Wyandottes bantams or standard breeds?

They are slow growing birds. They usually reach full maturity about 18 months old. They are a standard breed and will be quite large once they catch up! I felt like mine were never going to grow but now it seems as they are growing overnight! Yours are about 8 weeks old? Mine will be 12 weeks this week. This is one of them

Mine were born between late April to early May. I forgot to ask the feed store how old they were. Do there colors change once they get older? Like will it be a maroon color with blue like the few pics on here?
