I have several pairs of blue laced red wyandottes & white wyandottes.

Was wondering what would happen if I crosses the 2 colors ???

    Blr roosters x white hens

    white roosters x blr hens

What colors the offspring be ???

    just curious,

Any info would be greatly appriciated. [IMG]

I have heard that White Wyandottes are dominant white so they would be white with red leakage and possibly a few blue feathers. If your White Wyandottes were masking something like silver columbian then you would get sexlinks, but you wouldent get sexlinks from a White Wyandotte roo and a BLR Wyandotte hen.

Quote:White Wyandottes should be Recessive White, not dominant. Like mine should be recessive and I believe masking barring as I have a Barred Wyandotte rooster too that most likey came out of breeding the Whites to Blacks and resurfacing the barring. Mine came from Pauls Poultry, where did you get yours from josh44 ?

Anyways, contact hoppy or the people who won hoppy's acutions for eggs. He or she was selling eggs eggs from a White Roo on BLR hens and at the time hadnt hatched any to know what they would produce either but they may have now. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=433592

    Either
way it would depend on what your particular strain of whites are masking.
