Basically yes, they are hybrids produced by crossing a blue egg layer (usually an Ameraucana) with another breed.

One of the parents was an Ameraucana. The other parent may have been a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte.

OK thanks. I got her at a rural farm supply store. No telling where she came from. I liked her because she was different from all the rest.
