I will keep my fingers crossed that they will get along. I would love to keep both, I know that's not always possible though.

They are very young now but, a rooster can handle 10 hens. Less than that and the girls may end up over bred. If you plan to keep both you'd need double the hens., unless you rotate them one at a time with the flock.
