Hi everyone, I was just hoping to get people's feedback if my blue leghorn was a she or he. I have another that's got a bigger comb and his tail feathers are more pointy. This one.. I'M unsure about. I got them I a group of 9 hens when they were 6 weeks. They are now 16/17 see me. I know it's a waiting game but I just can't help keep thinking about it.
Ps: the last pic is of the roo. The others is of the one I'm not sure about View attachment 2017470View attachment 2017475View attachment 2017475

Here’s a picture from the internet of a mature blue leghorn rooster.

I’m confused about your last two pictures (duplicates), which you identify as being of your rooster. How old is this bird? It doesn’t look that different from the bird in the first picture.

As I recall, by the age of 16 weeks (not mature, of course) my cockerels all nevertheless looked very different from my pullets. They were all crowing, fighting, chasing the girls, and trying to mate them. If the first picture was taken when the bird was 16 weeks, my instinct (fwiw) is that it’s female and nearly ready to lay. The second picture, tbh, doesn’t look like a male at that age, either, but I’m pretty new. Maybe someone else will chime in.
