I had a giant cochin that looked very very similar to that once. I sold him because he had a pea comb. The lady who got him adores him regardless. I have been working on my giant cochins to get something similar to your hen. I am getting closer with every hatch. Around here we call them Tangerine Blues. I posted about it under the topic Wheaten Bantam Cochins. Regardless of what you call it and whether it is a "real" color or not, I think its breathtaking. Its one of my favorite colors. It seems to be very popular around here as I sell out as soon as I list any for sale.

Here is a picture of my guy. He had the same gold "lace" look on his chest that your hen has all over.

Beautiful color, whatever color it is.
I ordered some EE's this year from Cackle Hatchery (they are now about 4 months old). They are the most beautiful reddish-orange
and white color. Now that they are growing up and getting closer to laying I wish now I had ordered a cockeral or two to go with them
so maybe they would have been close to the same coloring.
I do however have several roos now but none that match my lovely red/orange beauties.

I have an Ameraucana (not an EE) who is almost that exact same color. The only difference is she has a dark brown head and a blue beard. I think she is absolutely beautiful. She is from a wheaten blue rooster and a mahogany hen. We have just been calling ours a blue wheaten for lack of a better description.

But, I like the tangerine blue description better.
