BLUE MARK ON DUCK EGG?

Hi, I have a duck egg on day 26. On day 24 I sprinkled water on it, I noticed a drop of water on the egg a few hours later...The next day there was a little blue mark and today it's bigger. What is this? Also how can I tell if it's alive? There's no bill in the air sack..
