Change of plans found a pair of magpie ducks to go with my female i have already, will be getting those if i can.

There is a huge windstorm and all my chickens are in their coop, it was hilarious. but i have come up with a slight format for my big chicken project, creating the clearwater chicken

Definitely cream legbars, splash or blue polish, maybe brahmas or araucanas and whatever comes in my mini cackle suprise box that i deem fit for this project. I plan on ordering hopefully a couple of heavy breeds and some egg layer specialists. I am open to suggestions. Traits i want are blue or green eggs, crest one thats larger than the legbars, autosexing, possibly no tail, splash or blue coloring, Rose V or Pea combs and great foragers. This list will probably continually change, as I select breeders. this year will be getting chickens for the project. I will see if I can get pics, broody breeds?

So it looks like an owl keeps coming and killing my ducks, I have lost 2 already.

Changed my clearwater chicken plan... again. ordering from Murray McMurray hatchery and am planning to get 5 salmon faverolle females, 5 buff laced polish females, 2 male cream legbars, and 3 unsexed partridge cochins. Not going to use the cochins.
