Blue or black?

Father had the blue gene, mother had the black gene. SLW x silver based splash EE.

Here is the proof he had the blue gene. GLW x the same rooster.

It's silver laced black, not blue. If it was crossed with another bird with blue plumage you would get 50% black and 50% blue. The ones that are black cannot be crossed together to get blue. There must be a blue or splash bird involved to get that color.
Hm interesting. Thank you (sorry if you saw the last post, I misread it.) I will keep that in mind for future breeding plans. Thank you.
