Blue or something else?

What colour is this chick? Ive never seen one this colour. It looks blue but not quite. It was from bought in eggs from a breeder trying to breed mauve and blue dun. Its maybe slightly lighter in real life and there isnt such a strong contrast, it's more of a uniform colour

Looks like the little fella might turn out lookin like a "blue" pitbull. They really never look blue its like a blue/gray... Which ever way, itll probably be really dark once it feathers up in a few weeks..

I love seeing how they change! I had a gold/buff silkie that initially feathered out with chocolate barred feathers that had to be smutty buff.. Its the loveliest soft gold colour now, no smutty anywhere. You think you know what they are but they like to do their own thing! This one is gorgeous. I'm really pleased with it

Thats like my RIR's they were so darn ugly at first but now theyre all a deep red w/ like 3 black tail feathers...
