I hate to bid on eggs. I have seen the prices driven up ridiculously. With the fragility of blue orps and shipping what a sad thing to pay $50 or more for eggs plus shipping and get a 0% hatch.

Good luck to whomever gets them.

Ditto on the price of eggs....some can get so funny about bidding wars and get no hatch. Easier for folks living on the East Coast than us.

DIck Horstman is an ABA judge. He also is the district 2 director for the APA.
His birds that I have seen are very nice and he is very nice to deal with.

except a limit of chicks needed to be shipped and so forth.

I have found it hard to hatch the Blue Orps too. Im on the westcoast which makes it really hard to hatch sometimes. That why this season I decided just to buy chicks at least I know I will have them for sure. It is still hard not to bid though.
