SC, I don't mind at all. I think he looks really good. He is a little leggy yet but that my change as he matures. I would definitely keep him for breeding. He can add great size to your flock. If you have nice typey shorter legged pullets or hens put him over them.
some of my largest hens came from a cross of a big splash that was a bit leggy but had huge bone structure. I put him over shorter typer hens and it made really nice very large big bones fluffy hens. That big cockerel I have came from those girls and my roo who is not a huge Roo but very typey so the girls are adding size and he is adding more type and fluff.
BTW, the splash roo I was using was out of my original Roo Blue Boy who has short legs
