Blue Runner Duck Male or Female??

I have a blue runner that was sexed as a female from a hatchery. However, this duck is extremely quiet. When I pick the duck up it barely makes a sound, while all my other ducks quack loudly. Today I noticed tail feathers which have a slight curl to them. This duck is currently 13 weeks old. Is my suspicion that it is a male correct??

By your description of the voice, it is likely a male. If there is a curl above the tail, it is a drake. Vent sexing can be inaccurate; especially at a hatchery where things are rushed.

That is for sure a male!! I have a black show Indian Runner drake and he sounds just like that!
