Blue Seal Home Fresh Chick Starter smells!!!

Just bought my first egg layer chicks with a 50lb bag of Blue Seal crumble feed (medicated). Got my little ladies home and opened the bag of feed. The smell! It smells like pee. There are also some mushy chunks of the crumble throughout the bag. I’m afraid to feed my babies this feed. Is this normal?

Ohh I can imagine how that smells, A friend actually gave me some before. I was actually on the thought of returning it if I really don't need some.

The bag in the picture got wet. It's moldy on the inside of the bag.
I like the Blueseal brand, but that bag wasn't stored properly.
I would shop elsewhere.
I buy my feed at TSC. I can inspect the bag and choose the one I want.
I use Purina Start & Grow and Nutrena Naturewise Starter Grower. I like both. GC
