Hello,
I am wondering what the medicine in BLUE SEAL Medicated food does for a chicken. What is the medication for?
Thank you!

The one I use ( chick starter) is for coccidosis. I think its the only one they sell.

Blue Seal chick starter uses Amprolium as the active medication, Amprolium - which goes by the trade names Corid and Amprovine, Amprolium, Amprol, and Anticoccid is a thiamine analog, competitively inhibits the active transport of thiamine (B1) and is used as a coccidiostat used in poultry.
