Blue/splash silkie chick hatched with a single pink toe!!!!????

So this is my first silkie hatch and I know that they are supposed to have all black skin!!!??? What the crap!? Is this a DQ? Anyone else heard of this or have had this experience??

Hi, I too got 2 chicks out of my blue splash pair that one had one white toe, another has two. The others all black skin. Neither parent has any white skin, so I was dumbfounded. I love the lil' things just the same. I'm not looking to show them, so not too concerned.. You are not alone! Haha

Hi! Sometimes they start out with light toes and 'color up' as they mature.
