Here is the best pics I have gotten of our new Blue Swedish Ducks we picked them up on the 30th of June when I went to get my new Bantam Chicken babies. Seen em had to break my rule and get them before I am fully ready for them. Oh well who can resist the little fuzzies. If these aren't good eniough I'll try to get together with my wife and hold the little boogers still for some more pictures But they are soo skittish I never have this much trouble with chicks. Anyway here they are.

this is Dot in the middle rear, quackers on the left and lighting McQueen on the right. Below I think it is Dot on the left Lightning middle and Quackers right. I think.

I thought as much when I started the thread I thought they were older but when I went to figure it up I was Duh not old enough. about two months early I'll come back to it then of course by then the gals should b e noisy enough to tell. They are super Cute they defied my attempts at a pen to "keep them safe" and decided they liked hanging out with the chickens. Chickens are cool with it so that is the new norm out with chickens but still having to round em up at night. I love em but wish they weren't so skittish of me.

my ducks love to be with my chickens and the bunnies the funniest is when they are free ranging and my 2beagles are out the dogs won't hurt them but they like to jump at them so the ducks chase the dogs its like a game of tag the ducks grab the dogs tail then turn and the dogs chase the ducks and bop them in the butt with there nose its so funny and fyi yours are gorgeous i love there color

Funny you mention the bunnies The first time I found them escaped they were grazing right next to a wild Bunnie in the yard. Since I eliminated the varmint that was plaguing us I see lots of bunnies and doves and smill birds that were not around before. Caught it going after the Duckies in fact. It found out that was a bad idea with chickie Daddy on the prowl.

What breed are the Mallard colored ducks (I hope I got the color name correct) I want cayugas and Calls But if we are approved for the small lake we are trying to build Who knows how many and what types I"ll end up with. Need Duck egg customers so I can get it by the Chickie Mamma though.

here is the best I managed to get of Freckles sorry for the shadow. Ducks are so much more skittish than chickens (but easier to herd) hoping when I get call and Cayuga eggs and hatch them myself they will be more amenable to me/us. We also have three Pekin ducks. The wife kinda broke loose on the duck thing once we got the swede's.
