Blue Swedish or Blue Runner?

I want a swedish for my flock but guess that's next year...lol

I have noticed in the swedish ducks I've seen do stand a bit more upright than other waddling ducks like mallards or Campbell's but no where near as straight as runners do. Some of mine are straight up at almost 90° from feet on ground

You can see even their heads are not as round as slot of ducks too..Their heads to bills almost form straight line very slight sloping.

Ooh thank you! Be looked closer to that when he was younger, as he stood up straighter then. I guess he's a Swedish then! More like "sweet"ish

He kinda waddles away from me when I enter the enclosure, but the Rouen does that too. I'm fairly sure they're a bit intimidated by my standing upright, for as soon as I sit/kneel down they run straight up the me, nibbling on my clothes and bare skin and eating right out of my hands.

Thank you so much! He really stood up straight like that when he was younger, but that may just be him. Little Scout is a Swedish then!

I found with my Swedish that they would stand very upright when the sprinkler went their way and stick out their chests. They chose to not move so must not have hated it.
My son age 9 at the time named them Duck Steel and Iron Duck because of the super hero stance.

Those names are great! I was just outside with the ducks and I can see them out my dining room window and Scout is standing upright yelling for me. Such a cutie. @21hens-incharge

He is grown now (28) and likes naming my hens silly things.
A SS named poptart, a BO named Twinkie and my avatar named Grandma for example.
