Hey guys my Rooster is really excited about being a boy but some of the girls don't really care for him. Are they too young? Or does he need to work on his "game" ?

How old are they? They’re probably too young yet, if he keeps persisting and they are refusing then you’ll need to keep an eye out for fights as he could injure them. Cockerels generally mature faster than pullets so it’s not always the best idea to keep them together.

He is actually one of the younger ones. But I have a mixed flock so they are maturing at different rates. He is a prairie bluebell egger and he goes after my leghorn and she wants nothing to do with him.
