Males will get a lot of black in the wing feathers, then the shoulders, then the chest. Females will continue a beautiful light creamy brown in the shoulders, and even lighter in the chest.
 
Thank you for the responses. So it sounds like about the same time I can tell based on the comb. I have one now at 1+ week that has darker wing feathering and is bigger than the others. It will be fun to see if that one turns out the be a roo.

They are only 1.5 weeks old right now. Little buggers are fast and the dog wanted to eat my phone so the pics are not that great.

I love Ameraucanas.

I hope one day I can find a local breeder who would sell me some pure Ameraucana chicks.
 
So are those then all girls and one boy?

I have in my bator and lock down tommorrow..wheaten and blue wheaten amerecaunas too
