Blue wheaton Ameraucana???

I hatched this bird from all Ameraucanas and araucana eggs from Gary. I think it is a blue wheaton. am I right? any idea as to the sex?

Looks like a blue wheaten to me, and a pullet.

if it was a pullet and I was to keep it would i be able to make more using a blue Ameraucana roo, or do I need a blue wheaton roo.

an you tell it is a pullet because of its color? I think the girls are lighter than the boys but I dont have any others to compare to.

im not sure because i haven't read much/messed with blue wheaten genetics, but yes Wheatens are lighter, cockerels/cocks should be red with a blue tail.

Wheton boy will be black or blue brested.If you use this girl with blue rooster you can not have wheton inF-1 because E -extendet black is dominant over wheton. All babys will be black, blue splash.Mating babys will bring back wheton.

oh can the blue wheaton have this leg color or should it be the slate color it looks like the color on the Ameraucanas site

You need a wheaton roo.That way you will get wheaton and blue wheaton offspring.I just so happen to have a show quality young roo that would go great with your little pullet if you are interested.I am in NW Georgia.

I actually decided to put her in an auction on eggbid. I think I would rather just focus on bbs and wont have the space for a project like that one.
