Does anyone here have a blue wyandotte laying large eggs? My BW has been laying small eggs since she started laying in January this year. She's been on and off broody all spring. But her egg size, whenever she resumes laying, continues to be a small "pullet bullet" size egg. I'm curious, since she's such a big girl, whether her egg size will continue to be this small.

LOL! I logged on to ask this same question and found this thread. My BW has been laying little eggs since she started laying a couple of months ago. Teeny eggs for such a big, fluffly butt! She does lay daily though, so I can't complain too much.

Great, I was going to ask the same question. My two are a year old and I agree with the teeny eggs for such a big, fluffy butt comment. My wife says, optimistically, that there is always a use for a small egg in cooking but I feel gypped! The hatchery didn't mention this SMALL detail.
