Blue Wyandottes coming from Meyers

I order 10 Blue wyandotts from Meyers a couple of weeks ago along with 50 Cornish Xs. They're due to ship 3rd week of May. I tried to find the Blues through some of the other hatcheries but Meyers seemed to be the only one raising them. Has any one recieved any of the Blues from Meyers? Has anyone else had a hard time sourcing Blues?

We just ordered ours from www.foleyswaterfowl.com and six days later we had them, they are Great folks to deal with.

Blue's are actually pretty easy to find. "Good" blue's, those that look remotely like a Wyandotte is a bit of a different story. Foley's has some very good one's and I think even they would concede that they will need more work to be a solid "Wyandotte" in terms of type. The type on the Foley birds is probably some of the best I have seen however.

Thanks for the links and info. I'll be curious to see the chicks from Meyers. If they appear substandard in size I'll definitly give Foleys a try. I'm trying to assemble a flock of big Blues like my Grandads. He had some dandys, the line was lost when he past away. I wish I had some pics to share, nice heavy birds with excellent color. Trying to find any solid, heavy blues around here has been a pain.
