Feeling kinda blue today. I bought (3) 4 weeks old chicks. I was told they were Pullets. It turns out one is a Roo. He is turning out to be a nasty little guy. Smallest one in the pen. Napoloen complex and a roo.

There is only a 90% chance of them being correct when they sex the chicks, I have read.

We all get roos occasionally when we think we are buying pullets.

Given time- he may grow into his role. Cockerels sometimes act immature then turn into wonderful roos.
